Listening to katchafire while waiting for the tsunami

This is the first Saturday that I'm off, and it is all due to the high warning sign of a tsunami. I live an a condo so I can pretty much see the whole ocean from my house, but that's not something that I wanna see first hand actually. I'm so used to the stillness of the waters, I hope that I won't have to see anything other than the crashing waves in the water. I heart and prayers go out to the people of Chile. I can't imagine what they are going through. Their earthquake was a surprise, and I'm here waiting for the tsunami.

Slightly an Extrovert

I recently took a personality test which proclaims me to be a slight extrovert, which surprise me that it was dead on. I hate the fact when a computer system know you better than you know yourself. Well its finally time that this 'Extrovert' has a girls night out.

Whatever that is going on in my life right now, really does reflect my fashion choices as well. I've been gravitating towards darker and bolder looks.

Spring semester just starting, and I'm trying so hard to not lag behind anymore. I've settled my goals in order, redefined what I want, and I'm enthusiastic about the future(Finance Vs. Marketing Vs. Management). Still with everything on my plate, there is still wedding to help plan! My sister has finally set a date for her wedding, and gave me the role of her maid of honor. Although I am grateful, I just wish we had a longer time to plan. 4 months is not long enough!!!

Too far gone.

Another year has passed, and I seem to have yet accomplish any of my goals. While I'm trying to reevaluate my life, relationships are starting to get complicated...I really need a break from reality just for a bit, possibly a vacay in Europe perhaps? Oh a girl can only dream...

What is Luxury?

Is it through designer brands... no maybe it's through the amount of money you have/make...
Is it that one of a kind couture gown that every celebrity starlet owns?
no it has to be those heels with the red sole...christian louboutins that's it,
Is it fame?
Is it owning a mansion in the vineyards of France?
No it cant be, because luxury is what you make of it-dinner with your family, coffee with an old friend, running without a destination, being captivated by a good novel, eating McDonald's Vanilla Ice Cream Cone, driving your car with the windows rolled down, playing monopoly, and watching an old classic at home on a Saturday night with your boyfriend.

Therefore LUXURY, is what you love, what you share, and what you already own. There's not much you can ask for, if what you want is what you already have.
